BMTL Follow-Up

February 20, 2010 @ Ohio University - Athens & Ironton Campuses

Teachers attending in Athens will meet in McCracken Hall Room 104 for breakfast and lunch. The workshop training will be held in McCracken Hall Room 108.
Teachers attending in Ironton will meet in Dingus Hall 101 for breakfast and lunch. The workshop training will be held in Dingus Hall 202.

Goals for the day include:
* Extending participants thinking about measurement in Early Childhood Mathematics
* Identify measurement concepts in classroom-ready activities to explore with early childhood students.
* Use literacy activities as a context for measurement in metric, customary, and student-invented (non-traditional) units.
* Move forward with Action Research Projects and build success with Final Symposium presentations.
* Set clear expectations and timelines for the remainder of the academic year.
* Ensure BMTL 3.0 participants get the most up-to-date information on graduate credit and CEU's.
